1,000 logic puzzles for your game, and a script that proves each one is fair.

Generating puzzles is easy. Generating puzzles with exactly one solution, no duplicates and a sensible difficulty curve is the part that eats a weekend. PuzzleLock is that part, done: 200 puzzles of each of five classic mechanics, with solutions, in plain JSON and CSV.

What's inside

• Nonogram / picross — 200 puzzles, 5x5–15x15, all solvable line by line (no guessing)
• Binary / Takuzu — 200 puzzles, 6x6–14x14, all solvable with the three basic rules
• Lights Out — 200 boards, 3x3–8x8, with the unique press set
• Number Path (Numbrix-style) — 200 puzzles, 5x5–8x8
• Skyscrapers — 200 puzzles, 4x4–7x7

Each mechanic has five bands (intro, easy, medium, hard, expert) of 40 puzzles, so you can ship a level select or a 200-day daily challenge straight away.

Verified, not just generated

Every puzzle was solved again by a reference solver that keeps searching after the first answer. A puzzle only made it in if there was exactly one solution, it matched the stored one, and an independent rule checker agreed. Duplicates were removed up to rotation and reflection. verify_all.py (standard-library Python) re-runs the whole check in your own terminal and writes validation_report.json: 1000/1000 passed.
